To achieve your best morning routine, here are 3 Basic Tips:

Prepare the Night Before

The night before is the best time to prepare what to do the next morning. As they say, being prepared ahead of time is half the victory already. This will set the mood on what you need to prioritize the next day than planning everything at hand. In this way, you can easily achieve that mindful and slow morning.

Use a Traditional Alarm Clock

Let us admit this, it is hard to use your phone as an alarm clock. It can be tempting to scroll on social media especially when there are several notifications after you dismiss the alarm. Can you relate to this as well? Plus, hitting the snooze on our alarms creates this satisfaction of sleeping more in the morning. Purchasing a traditional alarm clock can help solve this morning’s dilemma!

Create a Space for Self

Before the work grind starts in the day, consider taking time for yourself. Indulge yourself in activities that will bring you peace of mind (at least, before starting a new battle of the day). It can be: sip a warm green tea, do deep breathing, walk your pets, eat a healthy breakfast, listen to an inspiring podcast,s and do more activities of your choice. Control this time and space for β€œself-care” – yes, that’s the magic word!

These tips are only the basic ones to consider if you decided to incorporate a slow morning routine into your lifestyle. On the other hand, other people who are most active and productive at night can consider other ways when they can practice self-care time at night. Nevertheless, having these tips can be beneficial for your health and mindfulness.
