Becoming a year wiser again, I appreciate everything that I have at the moment. Take Heart to the coming years of real adulthood and independence!
Turning T H I R T Y
If age is just a number, then allow me to make it sparkle. Cheers to me on this age not conforming to the norms of the society. :p
How it started:
How it’s going:
This is my favorite part the sparkling number session. Haha! You get can all creative when there is Lazada that offers a lot of stuff. 😉
Dear younger self
At first, I thought of creating a separate blog post about writing a letter to my 20 years old self . I got lazy though. hehe! Better to include it here in this blog post instead.
Dear Lovely,
Turning 30 is not sweet as you expected. It is like a tea bag dipped in hot water, you’ll see its true colors and reveal its strong taste later on. The moment you recognize the taste, you will know what kind of tea leaf it is. Thank you for getting stronger and steady year after year. Yes, you have overcome those challenges in the past. Thank you for never giving up! And, who knows we can add a little honey this time around? 🙂
Your 30 years old self
Birthday Celebration
The celebration was simple at home. I had a different plan before but I ended up deciding to just have a minimalist and simple celebration. The menu must be (of course!) a round of my all-time favorites: carbonara, veggie pizza, and strawberry shortcake (Visco’s).
With all the restrictions of my budget (haha!) and health protocols, I thought of spending only my birthday with my family at home. See you soon friends on your birthdays! hehe.
10th Blogversary!
Aside from my birthday, I also dedicate this celebration to a decade of content creating using WordPress blog as a platform. My personal blog has grown well with me through the years. I am proud that it is now an independent website as I decided to transfer to self-hosting in December 2020. I would like to thank all the people who sincerely supported me in those years. It became my strength and reason to sustain my dream as a writer. Now, content writing has become my bread and butter during the year-long community quarantine. I must say that take heart and never let go of something you are passionate about. Protect your dream. 🙂
Birthday Playlist
The list of songs relates to my experience of introspection in home isolation. Most of these expressed what I currently working at, inner desires and thoughts about the current society.
1. Grammar Nazi – Reese Lansangan
2. Last Great American Dynasty – Taylor Swift
3. Rose Colored Boy – Paramore
4. Lost in Japan – Shawn Mendes
5. To the Sky – Owl City
